Painted Hills Elopement Session: Liliya & Joel

Couples Session Elopement Love Story Styled Session
February 20, 2019

When one of my friends considered moving to another state for a change of scenery, it made think. Why would I want to move away from where I call home? The more I thought about it, the more I realized that I’d have to be crazy to move away from the Pacific Northwest. It offers such variety of beautiful scenery, from all the incredible waterfalls, forests, and lakes, to the different mountains and deserts. The Painted Hills in Central Oregon is one of my favorite places in Oregon, and it happens to be one of the 7 wonders of Oregon. As a photographer, I’ve been wanting to market myself towards the adventurous couples who are wanting to elope in epic places, like the Painted Hills, so I decided to do an elopement styled shoot there. One of the things I love about photography, is getting to work with the elements that the weather presents us with. It was cold and very windy when we arrived at the location, but just as we began to shoot, the wind stopped, and it made for such a fun and beautiful evening. The beautiful models are Liliya, and Joel. Liliya met Joel on a warm day in June while boating with friends, and it was love at first sight. The pair have been inseparable ever since. The chemistry between is just unbelievable. You can feel the love and joy they share with each other through these photos.
